Ivory Elegance

Something new for me again. I've never done calla lillies in fondant before, but I was really happy with the way they turned out. The front of the cake was kind of a replica of the back of the bride's dress. What a fun combination!

Tropical Orange

This one was fun and different. Something I've never done before, so of course, I was excited at the opportunity. The reception was in the coolest place I think I've ever seen before, and made for a beautiful backdrop for the cake.

Orange & Purple

Certainly a fun and unique color combination! But it turned out super cute!

Envelope Look

My pictures turned out kind of dark on this one, but it was something new and different. Natalie described the cake she wanted as having an "envelope look." Here's what it turned out like. The cake was caramel colored, and the setting they had it in looked really nice.

Pretty In Pink

It's always fun to do something new and different. I figured "Pretty In Pink" was an appropriate title for this cake. I loved the way it turned out!

Recent Cakes and The Bridal Faire

Wow! Things are pretty crazy right now! But I have done a few cakes lately that were unique and fun, from classic black and white, to pink and white checked, all the way to apple green with purple accents. Loved them all! Hope you do too! I had a great time at the Bridal Faire this year and enjoyed meeting many of you there! Good luck to you all as you plan your BIG DAY!!

Wild & Wacky

Here's my last post for today! I'd almost forgotten about this one, but it's another one of those rare birthday cakes I do. This was another one where I got to choose what to do, and how to do it! And since I couldn't decide right off, I kind of just started and went along without a real plan in my head. This is what I ended up with. Pretty wild and wacky, but I liked it when all was said and done!
