Double Happiness

Even though I cut off the symbol at the top of the cake, it was a Chinese monogram for "double happiness." Oops! The sad thing is that I took three pictures, and I did the same thing in every single one of them! The problem is, the mirror behind the cake makes it really tricky to take a picture without seeing yourself in the picture taking the picture! (If you know what I mean! :) ) So I was concentrating so hard on not having me show up in the mirror and just getting the cake, that I guess I didn't notice that I didn't really have the whole cake!

Ivory Elegance

Something new for me again. I've never done calla lillies in fondant before, but I was really happy with the way they turned out. The front of the cake was kind of a replica of the back of the bride's dress. What a fun combination!

Tropical Orange

This one was fun and different. Something I've never done before, so of course, I was excited at the opportunity. The reception was in the coolest place I think I've ever seen before, and made for a beautiful backdrop for the cake.
